Three people were killed and seven others injured after a three-wheeled farm vehicle overturned in northwest China's Gansu Province on Tuesday.

A student was among those killed.

The accident occurred around 9:30 a.m. in Tianzhu County, according to local police.

The police said a villager was driving his child, four other students and their parents to a school in Duoshi Town.

The injured have been hospitalized, the local government said.
