A hundred little cuties joined movie stars to hit the red carpet Thursday night for the 2nd Silk Road International Film Festival that runs from September 22 to 26 in Fuzhou, capital of south China's Fujian province.
The kids between the ages of 3 to 12 who were all born in Fuzhou dressed like celebrities and signed their names on a wall. Screaming fans along the red carpet were surprised to see these cuties stole the show.
Another group of kids will walk the red carpet Friday and Sunday. They will add a touch of childlike delight to this year's festival. It is hoped that more movie lovers will know the city and love it.
The festival is co-sponsored by the State Administration of Press, Publication, Radio, Film and Television and the governments of Fujian and Shaanxi Provinces with an aim to promote cultural exchanges and cooperation among countries along the Silk Road.
