More than 40 parents signed a joint letter to the headmaster of the school, demanding the child be kicked out, claiming his behavior was distracting their children while in class.

In the letter, they site his behavioral problems, poor speech and unusual facial expressions as the reason they wanted the child gone.

The boy's father says his child had just completed one-year of corrective training and says he applied to the school to allow a parent to accompany the child during class.

He says it was his hope the boy would be able to slowly adjust to normal life by attending school with children his age.

The child himself also says he want to go back to school so he can play with the other children.

Education experts note every child in China has the right to compulsory education, suggesting the door should be open for the young boy to return to class.
