Quakes jolt waters off Taiwan

A 5.8-magnitude earthquake hit sea area of Yilan County in Taiwan at a depth of 15 kilometers at 12:29 pm Beijing Time on Thursay, according to China Earthquake Networks Center (CENC).

The epicenter was monitored at 24.77 degrees north latitude and 122.02 degrees east longitude.

A 6.2-magnitude earthquake hit a sea area of Yilan county in Taiwan at a depth of 15 kilometers at 11:17 am Beijing Time on Thursay, according to CENC.

The epicenter was monitored at 24.71 degrees north latitude and 122.00 degrees east longitude.
