It's the country's first aircraft-transformed restaurant.

Customers are invited to have meals inside the cabin and experience how a plane operates on a simulated flight deck.

Li Lang, the operator of the restaurant, said it took him four months to ship the retired airplane from Indonesia to Wuhan at a cost of more than 35 million yuan ($525,000), while refurbishment took him six months until it was finished on Friday.

He has also set a high threshold for waiters and waitresses, as strict as for real flight attendants. Waitresses should be taller than 1.65 meters and waiters more than 1.75 meters. All receive the professional training of flight attendants.

Themed restaurants in China have received a warm welcome from the young, though some experts warn that owners should pay more attention to ensuring good service and food quality or operations would soon lose popularity.
