"The CPC in Dialogue with the World 2016" will be held in southwest China's Chongqing Municipality from Oct. 13 to 15, with a theme of Innovation in Global Economic Governance: Initiatives and Actions of Political Parties.

This event will bring together scholars, experts and prominent political figures from all over the world.

Participants will seek to contribute their wisdom and understanding to world economic governance through discussing the new concepts, tasks and requirements in global governance set forth by Chinese President Xi Jinping as well as China's five development concepts.

China has been at the focus of the world's attention for its miraculous 30 years of economic growth and development since it adopted the reform and opening up policy, and especially after the country began its comprehensive reform plan in 2014 after the Third Plenum of the 18th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China (CPC).

The Dialogue will be sponsored by the International Department of CPC Central Committee and organized by the Chongqing municipal Party committee.

The annual CPC and the world dialogue has served as an exchange platform between China's ruling Party, the CPC and the rest of the world since it was launched in 2014.
