Earlier, media reports said that Chinese astronauts will carry out altogether 14 experiments in space this time.

Born in central China's Henan Province in 1978, it is the first time Chen Dong will carry out the mission as crew of China's manned spacecraft.

Chen said he already has full preparation for the mission. He said that astronaut Jing Haipeng is his teacher when it comes to professional matters. Jing is a committed and dedicated person, and very experienced as an astronaut.
