The left engine of a cargo plane scheduled to fly from Beijing to Incheon Airport caught fire after taking off at Beijing Capital International Airport last Thursday evening, according to China's Civil Aviation Network.

Taking off at 22:20, the plane was soon found that its left engine had caught fire at a height of 100 meters.

The control tower immediately notified the flight crew, who then checked and decided to return to the ground.

Sixty-five other planes on the ground or in the air were ordered to wait or hover for further order.

The plane finally landed safely at 22:34.
