"My elderly mother wants to see Mount Emei and Liujiang River, I must satisfy her wishes," Zhu Jianjin, a man from southwest China's Sichuan Province, told Chengdu Business Daily.

Upon learning that Zhu Jianjun works near Mount Emei, one of the Four Sacred Buddhist Mountains of China, his 72-year-old mother expressed her wishes to go there and look around.

The man said that since his father passed away, his mother had worked hard for the family. "The hard work for many years has damaged her health, especially her back. She cannot sit for a long time. If we drive to Mount Emei, we have to spend two hours on the way, my mother cannot endure it. By helicopter, however, the time would shorten to half an hour. That's much better," added Zhu.

On August 15, Zhu Jianjun rented a helicopter from a general aviation company in Sichuan and planned to overlook the beautiful landscape with his mother.

However, just ahead of the trip, Zhu began to have new worries. Can mother adapt to the noise of the helicopter? Can her back bear the hard seat of helicopter and a 30-minute air range? Will she become airsick during the flight?

After some discussion, the head of the general aviation company allowed Zhu Jianjun to try a short ride. Zhu said that he felt very excited when he boarded the helicopter, "I believe my mother must be happy when she gets on the helicopter and looked down at the ground."

"We declared to the airspace control department in accordance with the normal procedures. This flight route has already been flown many times. But it's the first time we have served a 70-year-old customer and take her from home," said the head of the aviation company.

The company’s head said all helicopters in his firm are of the Robinson R44 model, which have been imported from the United States. The two-person trip is expected to cost 5,000 yuan (about 747 US dollars). But considering Zhu's filial piety, the company will give him a maximum discount.

Chengdu Business Daily reports that the general aviation company will send a helicopter to the elder's home on Thursday morning and fulfill her wishes to see Mount Emei and Liujiang River.
