Abstract

The Chinese Dream preludes a new era of the socialist movement. First, according to classic Marxist writers, socialist ideals have the same implications on the world scale. The socialist ideals of Karl Heinrich Marx and Friedrich Engels are depicted from the perspective of all mankind, not from the national perspective. This aspect is closely associated with the world market of capitalism. Since the 20th century, socialist movements in their respective nations have not broken national borders. The theory of building socialism with Chinese characteristics brought forward by the Communist Party of China and the remarkable achievements China has made under its guidance, marks a new historical era in modern socialist movement. Second, the theory of the Chinese Dream is founded on the interpretation of socialism with Chinese characteristics. The pursuit of an ideal is closely associated with a particular theoretical paradigm. The classic socialist theory is not based on national-states, but the whole world. The notion of "Sinocization of Marxism" created by Mao Zedong, has provided theoretical foundations for new and creative explorations of socialist movement. It seeks to be suited to a particular nation rather than becoming universal. Every summary and improvement of the theory of socialism with Chinese characteristics has clearly and carefully focused it on the development of China itself. Third, the Chinese Dream has reconstructed the national framework for socialist movement. For example, the socialist movement that took place in the Soviet Union emphasized universality, as well as centricity and authority. The socialist movement of China has begun an era of "decentralization" to ensure that all communist parties across different countries operate independently and equally on their own socialist paths. The Chinese Dream has shown a new course for socialism ideals to take, which means using socialist national dreams to gradually shape a world ideal of socialism. This has not only complied with the basic principles of socialism, but also emphasized the creative spirit and historic perspective of specific nations.
