HK Chief Executive to visit Beijing

Hong Kong Chief Executive Donald Tsang will visit Beijing from Wednesday to Saturday to attend the opening ceremony of the third session of the 11th National People' s Congress, according to local government website Monday.

Tsang will also attend a spring reception hosted by the Hong Kong Chamber of Commerce in China and conduct other public affairs.

Director of the Chief Executive's Office Raymond Tam, Director of Information Services Michael Wong, Private Secretary to the Chief Executive Kenneth Mak, Senior Special Assistant to the Chief Executive Chan Kin-ping and Assistant Director (Media) Vic Yau will accompany Tsang.

Tsang will then take vacation leave from March 7-10. Chief Secretary for Administration of Hong Kong Henry Tang will be Acting Chief Executive.
