China's space agency has announced the spacecraft Shenzhou-10 will be launched sometime between June to August this year.

The manned space mission will start from the Jiuquan satellite launch center in Gansu Province. The Shenzhou-10 will carry three astronauts and dock with the Tiangong-1 space station that's already in orbit. China carried out its first manned docking with the space station last June. The mission's objectives include further assessing the docking system's performance and researching the astronauts' abilities to adapt to the outerspace environment.

A statement released by China's manned space program also said during the mission, astronauts will give science lectures to teenaged audiences back on earth. It will be China's fifth manned space mission since 2003, when astronaut Yang Liwei became the country's first person in orbit.
