Zhang Li was appointed assistant minister of commerce.
Ma Huaide was named president of Renmin University of China (vice ministerial level) in Beijing, replacing Lin Shangli.
Hu Wenping was appointed president of Xiamen University (vice ministerial level) in east China's Fujian Province, replacing Zhang Zongyi.
