HONG KONG, Feb. 26 (Xinhua) -- A hillside fire broke out on Thursday afternoon in Fanling, south China's Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR), with a fire front stretching about 100 meters, local media reported.
The flames were clearly visible from Fanling and Sheung Shui in Hong Kong, as well as Liantang in Shenzhen, which borders Hong Kong's New Territories across the Shenzhen River.
As of around 8:00 p.m. (1200 GMT), the blaze was still ongoing, with firefighters working vigorously at the scene to put out the fire. Enditem
