TAIYUAN, March 28 (Xinhua) -- One person died and 25 others were injured, including seven in critical condition, after a high-rise building fire broke out in Taiyuan, north China's Shanxi Province, on Saturday, local authorities said.
The fire erupted at around 8 p.m. in Xiaodian District of Taiyuan, sources with the Taiyuan municipal government said.
So far, the open flames have been extinguished. Firefighters are carrying out search and rescue operations inside the building. Enditem
