China's top political advisor meets CPV delegation

BEIJING, July 14 (Xinhua) -- China's top political advisor Wang Huning met with a delegation of the Communist Party of Vietnam (CPV) led by Le Minh Tri, member of the Political Bureau of the CPV Central Committee and chairman of the CPV Central Committee's Commission for Internal Affairs, in Beijing on Tuesday.

Wang, a member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee and chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC), said General Secretary of the CPC Central Committee Xi Jinping has maintained close strategic communication with General Secretary of the CPV Central Committee To Lam.

Wang noted the top leaders of the two sides reached new important common understandings this April, providing strategic guidance for the relations between the two parties and the two countries, and the development of the world socialism cause.

Wang said China is ready to work with Vietnam to implement the important consensus reached by the top leaders of both sides, and further advance the building of a China-Vietnam community with a shared future, adding the CPPCC is willing to make positive contributions in this regard.

Le Minh Tri congratulated the CPC on its 105th anniversary, saying that the Vietnamese side admires the series of global initiatives put forward by General Secretary Xi and his leadership in leading China forward continuously.

Vietnam is willing to jointly deliver on the consensus reached by the top leaders of the two parties and the two countries, draw on the theory of socialism with Chinese characteristics, and work to build a Vietnam-China community with a shared future, he added. Enditem
