BEIJING, July 15 (Xinhua) -- Cai Fuchao, former deputy head of the Publicity Department of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee, is under investigation for suspected severe violations of Party discipline and the law, an official statement said Wednesday.
The investigation of Cai, who also formerly served as head of the then State Administration of Press, Publication, Radio, Film and Television, is being conducted by the CPC Central Commission for Discipline Inspection and the National Commission of Supervision, according to the statement. Enditem
