BEIJING, Aug. 8 (Xinhua) -- Song Zhiyuan, former board member of Dongfang Electric Corporation, has been placed under investigation for suspected severe violations of Party discipline and the law, according to an official statement released on Saturday.
The case of Song, who also served as deputy secretary of the company's leading Party members group, is being investigated by the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection of the Communist Party of China and the National Commission of Supervision, the statement said. Enditem
