Bus Plunges into River: Six Dead, 29 Injured in Henan

Six people have been killed and another 29 were injured when a bus plunged off a bridge in Fangcheng County, Nanyang City in central China's Henan Province Thursday.

The accident happened at 9 AM Thursday in Fangcheng, in southern Henan, when the bus tried to avoid a head-on collision with a motorcycle. Four people died at the scene and two others died later in hospital.

The 29 injured passengers are receiving treatment in the Fangcheng County Hospital.

The county government has formed special rescue and condolence teams. Further investigation into the accident is underway.
