Six people including two children have been killed in a road accident in Baoji, northwest China's Shaanxi Province, local police said on Sunday.

The accident happened on Saturday afternoon when a minibus with three adults and four children on board and a heavy truck collided head on, the police of the Baoji city said.

Only a seven-year-old boy in the minibus survived the accident, while the other six were killed on the spot. The boy, seriously wounded, was recovering in a local hospital.
