A new survey indicates that Hong Kong remains the most competitive city in China in 2009, followed by Taiwan and Shanghai.
The annual survey by the China Institute of City Competitiveness covers 34 cities and their economic, social, environmental and cultural conditions.
Another report by the institute said Hong Kong, Shanghai and Beijing are regarded as China's major international metropolises, while Shenzhen, Hong Kong and Dalian are considered the most creative cities.
