204 police dogs to safeguard the Olympics

A team of 204 police dogs selected from across the country have completed special training in Beijing on Wednesday to start working as guard dogs for the Olympics which commence in a month.

The police dogs, comprising eight breeds such as German Shepherds, Labrador Retrievers, English Spring Spaniels and Rottweilers, will mainly search for explosives in Olympic venues.
