Authorities in Shanghai installed automatic recycling machines for bottles on Shanghai's Nanjing Road on Saturday. The machine pays those who recycle bottles at the station.

Shanghai residents and tourists alike have welcomed the new recycling machine, saying it helps save resources and protect the environment. Some tourists also said they drew great pleasure from participating in the recycling process.
