A cultural league was founded on Nov 11 in Jinan, the capital of Shandong province, to boosts the province's cultural industry.

The combination of the 13 organizations involved in culture-related sectors forms the league, including the American Chinese Youth Federation, the International Channel of Shandong Radio and Television Station, and the Shandong Arts and Crafts Association.

The league will put its effort into building world-famous cultural brands, according to the league.
