An exhibition for online commodities was held from Nov 18 to 20 in the Jinan Shungeng International Convention and Exhibition Center in Jinan, the capital city of Shandong Province.
Visitors were provided with information on e-commerce at the exhibition. In addition, more than 400 e-commerce enterprises and online sellers showcased their products in 620 booths, where visitors can buy high-quality products at a favorable price.
During the exhibition, a forum focused on the China's e-commerce growth was also held on Nov 18. Experts shared their opinions on Chinese e-commerce policies in the next five years at the forum.
China's e-commerce transaction registers a rapid development in recent years.
Last year's trade volume was worthy of 5 trillion yuan ($787.5 million), among which B2B (business to business) transactions were valued at 4.5 trillion yuan and B2C (business to customer) transactions at 500 billion yuan.
China's trade volume of e-commerce is expected to increase to 18 trillion yuan by 2015, according to the Ministry of Commerce.
