During the first two days of the Labor Day holiday, Chishan scenic area in Weihai, Shandong province hosted more than 50,000 travelers, up 50 percent over the same period of last year. The number is expected to reach 70,000 at the end of the three-day holiday.

The sunny weather and a faint perfume of flowers in the area encouraged travelers. The yellow Jessamine, oriental cherry, magnolias and camellia flowers are in full bloom, adding color and charm to the park’s scenic sites.
