Shandong companies lease overseas land for ag-cooperation

Two Shandong-based companies signed a land lease with Sudan on May 15 to utilize the local natural conditions for agricultural technological cooperation and a planting and processing project.

Shandong International Economic & Technological Consulting Corporation, a unit of the Shandong Hi-speed Group Co., Ltd., is working with Shandong Lumian Group to lease a total area of 6,667 hectares in Sudan.

Lands with the total area of 66,667 hectares are planned to be leased in Sudan's cities, including Khartoum for the construction of a cotton processing enterprise.
