| Niu Jiwei (L), an artist of pottery from Zibo city, Shandong Province, looks at his work – a copy of ancient celadon on April 28. The celadon of the Northern Dynasties (A.D. 386 - 581) with pendant lotus flowers, unearthed in the city's Zichuan district, is a grade one cultural relic under state protection. The copies are different in size but same in proportion with the original, and possess immense artistic value. |
