This exhibition boasts a total of 100 pictures on a series of major historial events such as the PLA troops marching into Tibet, construction of Kangding-Tibet Highway, suppressing rebellion in Tibet in 1959, Democratic Reform, counterattack in self-defense on China-India border and establishment of Tibet Autonomous Region, showing a real Tibet in aspects like religion, culture and ethnic customs.

"It has witnessed the Democratic Reform in Tibet. It's really a landmark in the history of global human rights," Zhang Xiaoming, president and chief editor of "China's Tibet" said highly of the exhibition.
