119 aftershocks monitored after major earthquake in Wenchuan

As of 9:00 AM Thursday, 119 aftershocks above 4 on the Richter scale had been monitored since the devastating earthquake on Monday in Wenchuan County of southwest China's Sichuan Province, China Seismological Bureau said on Thursday.

The biggest Aftershock reported so far has been a magnitude-6.1 quake. Quakes above 5 on the Richter scale numbered 20.
