Overseas Chinese donate to earthquake survivors
Adjust font size:

Overseas Chinese, including businesses and students, are showing their concern by pledging donations.

Chinese businesses in the Netherlands raised the equivalent of over 360,000 yuan in an hour. They will hold more fundraising performances to benefit Sichuan Province.

In Belgium, over the past two days, Chinese students have donated in many ways, saying they will help in any way they can.

Chinese student in Brussels Ren Tao said, "I'm studying medicine and if my country needs my help, I would love to come back now. I'd like to do my best to rescue and treat patients."

The Chinese Students Scholars Association in Britain has called for all overseas Chinese to donate money to the earthquake survivors. At the University of London, not only the Chinese, but people from all walks of life have opened their wallets.
