This boy was a pupil of the Yingxiu Elementary school. He remained trapped in the wreckage of the school for more than 48 hours before being rescued. He's been transported to Chengdu for further medical treatment.

After preliminary medical examination, the boy was diagnosed with a fractured right leg. He is suffering no major medical problems other than that.

One doctor of Sichuan Provincial Hospital said "Details of the woman's condition are not clear. Her vital signs are stable. Her inability to move her foot was deemed the result of its being immobilized for some time prior to her rescue."

By 5pm, May 15th, 800 seriously injured people had been relocated to the Emergency center at Sichuan Provincial hospital. Among that number 100 come from the worst-hit areas like Wenchuan, Yingxiu and Xuankou.
