People injured in the earthquake are continuing to be transferred to hospitals in neighboring Chongqing Municipality and Yunnan, Guizhou and Shaanxi provinces.

Wang Xing'e is a power grid worker from Beichuan county. He lost all of his relatives in the quake, and he has a broken leg. The hospital has prepared clean cloths and hot food for his arrival. Two nurses take care of him, and offered him emotional support.

Wang Xing'e (left leg broken in the quake) said "It felt quite cozy in the hospital when I got here. They treat us just like relatives and friends."

By Monday more than 1500 injured people had been sent to Chongqing. Of the 52 patients sent to Southwest Hospital, four have recovered.

Chen Zhengyou, Southwest Hospital of Chongqing Municipality said "They are recovering well through treatment. There are no deaths to report and no amputation surgery has been arranged so far."

In Kunming, the capital of Yunnan province, all the hospitals are well prepared to receive patients. Nearly 1500 beds are ready in Xi'an, Shaanxi province. And more than 100 ambulance vehicles are on stand-by around the o'clock. The People's Hospital in Guizhou province has arranged for its newly completed surgery building to accept injured people.
