Almost 50 power stations went down in the earthquake. 40 are now back in operation. The State Grid is now upgrading a 220,00 Volt electricity station.

Once it's completed in three months, it is expected to provide a stable source of power for Jiangyou. Water is also running again in Beichuan and Wenchuan counties - the quake's epicenter. Most areas have guaranteed a daily supply of over 20 liters of water per person.
