WE CARE: A charity auction to raise funds for lasting reconstruction projects in Sichuan

What: A community auction to raise funds to help rebuild communities and make a lasting difference to people whose lives have been destroyed by the Sichuan earthquake.

How: All products and services will be auctioned to the highest bidder on June 26. ALL proceeds will go towards one, or a combination of, the following projects, depending on the amount of funds raised:

(a) Playground (b) Orphanage (c) Community Center (d) Projects employing those injured in the quake.

When: June 26, 2008 7:30 pm-8:00pm Sign-in 8:00 pm-8:20pm Opening and introduction 8:20 pm-9:20pm Auction 9:20 pm-10:00pm Raffle (Bring your business card - extra prizes are waiting for you!)

  • The first 10 people to RSVP will receive a complimentary 1-year subscription to CIB.

Tickets: RMB150 (buffet and drinks provided, with live music performance) All ticket proceeds will be donated to the charity fund.

Donors will receive a certificate. The list of donors and auction winners will be published in CIB and Domus (China)
