Over one hundred Hong Kong celebrities stayed on Saturday night in a local studio and completed a music video to support the snowstorm battle on the mainland.

Echoing the call of Hong Kong Performing Artistes Guild and local-based Phoenix Television were such stars as Andy Lau, Joey Yung, Alan Tam, Kelly Chen and Sammi Cheng, as well as Phoenix TV star host Wu Xiaoli.

The Chinese song, with the music of Alan Tam's 1986 hit Friends, features new, encouraging lyrics like "there is heavy snow/but you are not alone," and "when love prevails the snow will melt."

The video will soon be donated to mainland broadcasters without copyright.
