A comedy drama mirroring the actual problems plaguing modern marriages has caught the attention of audiences at the Haidian theater in northern Beijing.

Based on daily trifles, the drama, "How to Tease You, My Love," resonates with young people in Beijing, CNR.cn reports.

In the play, three couples in their 20's, 30's, and 40's struggle through misunderstandings over unexpected incidents. However, they finally put their disputes aside to unite against outsiders.

Director Gao Liang says he tried to probe the modern marriage and discover actual situations that occur in urban marriages. The drama reflects the credibility crisis that exists widely among couples.

The popular drama was previously staged at the Beijing People's Art Theater this February.

The new round of performances will run until March 15 at the Haidian theater.
