Liu Mengyin, a famous calligrapher from Nanchang, completed a 2008-meter scroll of calligraphy on Monday afternoon.

Liu plans to donate his masterpiece to the Beijing Olympics Organizing Committee to show the calligraphers warm welcome for the upcoming international event.

The scroll contains 200,000 characters, including many complex letter forms such as Oracle, as well as some 53 varieties of poetry.

The scroll weighs 100 kilograms, and Liu plans to submit it to the Guinness World Record committee for most letter forms written on a single scroll by one person.
