A grand rock and roll party was held in Hong Kong Wednesday night with Beijing band "Qingxing" and Hong Kong legend "Beyond" sharing the stage again after ten years.

Portal website Sina reports that the party gathered the major forces of Hong Kong rock and roll to promote independent and rock music of Hong Kong.

Starting with the performances of some new bands, the party was lit up by members of the "Beyond" band Wing Yip, Paul Wong and Steve Wong. Although performed separately, fans and other singers still hoped the bands would regroup.

Another legendary local rock band the "Wynners" also sang their classical songs at the party.

Besides Hong Kong groups, the "Qingxing" band from Beijing offered the audience a different feeling of rocks with their fresh style.
