Outdoor music festival held along West Lake

Chinese ballad bands and singers enlivened the May Day holiday in Hangzhou with a memorable performance at the First West Lake Music Festival.

Veteran singers such as Lao Lang, Wan Xiaoli and Ye Pei, together with several bands, wowed audiences with well-known hits on Friday and Saturday, Sohu.com reports.

The concert, set on the lawns on the bank of the famous West Lake, turned out to be a big party for both the fans and the performers.
