Stars do their bit for quake-stricken areas

Chinese entertainment stars have initiated a campaign calling people to reach out a helping hand when news came that a major earthquake jointed southwestern China's Sichuan province on May 12.

Actors include Zhang Guoli, Wang Zhongjun, Lin Zhongjun as well as Andy Lau from Hong Kong have donated money amounting to 20.2 million yuan to the quake stricken areas, according to sina.com.cn.

The website also published three ways of making donations through bank accounts, mail or directly at a specially opened office.
