Adjust font size:

Workers vamp the inner of the Zhongshan Warship Museum with the historical cruiser "Zhongshan", salvaged out of the Yangtze River on January 28, 1997, well placed on its preset berth, as its relocation project passed formal appraisal, at Jinkou Town, Wuhan, capital of central China's Hubei Province, May 26, 2008. The cruiser was named after Dr. Sun Yat-sen, the great forerunner of the Chinese Democratic Revolution. The ship was sunk by Japanese warplanes at Wuhan on October 24, 1938, during the War of Resistance Against Japan (1937-1945). (Xinhua/Zhou Guoqiang)
