Chinese actress and director Xu Jinglei has not updated her online diary since May 26, arousing suspicion from netizens as to why she would abandon her blog.

Xu had previously been a diligent blogger who published an entry almost every day.

Her blog has generated 100 million hits in the 620 days since Xu opened it, and won the performer more fans, the Hunan-based Xiaoxiang Morning Post reported.

However, Xu's recent journal entry, posted on May 21, told her supporters that she was tired. She wrote that saying goodbye to the computer might make her feel better.

Thousands of netizens are now waiting online for Xu's next update. Some fans posted comments on her blog, calling for her return to the blogosphere.

Xu's blog is a platform for her to communicate with her fans. She promoted her movie "Dreams May Come" there and shared her feelings.
