Archaeologists from Nanjing Museum recently discovered a well-preserved 1400-year-old tomb buried in the rural area of Jiangning District, Nanjing City.

The tomb, which archeologists believe belonged to an aristocrat, features well-preserved doors, passages and a coffin chamber. According to Chen Dahai, an expert from the archeological team, a number of similar tombs have been preserved in the mountainous outlying area of the district.
