With the theme of promoting the Olympic culture, this exhibition, organized by China Post Group, is a warm-up for the upcoming Olympic Expo Beijing 2008 which will be opened on the same day as the Olympic Games, China National Radio website cnr.cn reported.

The exhibits include many precious post antiques contributed by the local post bureau, such as China's first series of dragon stamps with a history of 130 years and the postman's costumes in Qing Dynasty (1644-1912).

Sports accessories from this century are on display in the exhibition. A campaign to collect abandoned sports goods was also launched during the event to promote a green Olympics and the spirit of environmental protection.

The exhibits will be on display in the Olympic Expo in Beijing 2008 until next month.
