Hong Kong pop diva Joey Yung performed in a gala celebrating the 10-day countdown to the Beijing Olympics on Monday evening.

The star staged a grand finale with four mainland singers in the show, news website ent.qq.com reported.

Joey Yung was honored to have the chance to join in the celebration, which filled her with the spirit of the approaching Olympics, the report quoted the star as saying.

The gala, also featuring stars including action film legend Jackie Chan, Singaporean pop singer Stefanie Sun and mainland singer Han Hong, was titled "Centurial Olympics Dream Comes True".

The gala was broadcast live through China Central Television Channel 1,3,4,5 and 9.
