Linkin Park returns for concert
Adjust font size:

Americab rock band Linkin Park will return to Shanghai in October after their sold-out concert in the city last year. They will perform at Shanghai Stadium on October 12, joined by popular Taiwanese rock band Mayday.

Each band will perform for about 90 minutes to make it the "first ever East meets West rock concert" in China, according to organizer EMMA Entertainment. Tickets, from 100 yuan (US$14) to 1,600 yuan, are available at www.ticketmaster.cn or through hotline 400-707-9999.

The concert is part of Linkin Park's "Music for Relief" tour around the world. The Shanghai concert will help raise international and domestic awareness of the needs of Sichuan after the earthquake and support those affected.
