Chinese mainland singer-composer Dou Wei has released an album of hits to celebrate the ongoing Beijing Olympic Games, Guangzhou Daily reported on Monday.

The album includes five discs in the five colors of the Olympic rings. Each color symbolizes a unique theme.

"When listening to my album, I hope listeners can feel the sadness and hope that I tried to express," the paper quoted Dou Wei as saying.

Dou Wei added the first videos of his twenty-year singing career to the black disc, and says the compilation is his gift to the Beijing Olympics.

The CD set is decorated simply, with a single red cloud adorning the eco-friendly packaging.
