The funeral of top South Korean actress Choi Jin-Sil was held on Saturday morning in Seoul, October 4th, the web Site QQ.com reports.

More than 100 of her friends and family, including her ex-husband Jo Seung-min were in attendance.

A series of her acting performances and her favorite music were shown and played during the funeral service.

The funeral was held according to Christian customs as Choi Jin-Sil believed in Christianity.

Choi Jin-sil committed suicide by hanging herself while under extreme mental stress early Thursday morning. October 2, 2008.

Debuting in show business in 1988, Choi became popular among Chinese audiences for her role in "Wish upon A Star" in 1997.
