Eva Mendes looks like a "circus act" when she walks in high heels.

The 34-year-old actress claims she is a shoe addict but never buys heels above 5ins because she finds it so difficult to move around.

She is quoted by gossip website Absolute Now as saying: "I absolutely love shoes. I can never have too many pairs. I especially love ones with huge stiletto heels - but it's always a circus act when I walk in them. I am all over the place."

Eva recently revealed she hates going to the gym because she finds them ugly and noisy.

The actress - the face of the new Calvin Klein underwear campaign - detests working out inside, preferring to get in shape by exercising in the open air.

She said: "I work out once a week doing light weights but on the whole I find gyms so grey and so ugly - I don't want to listen to bad techno music on a treadmill.

"I prefer to go running near my house in Los Angeles with my dog or my neighbour."
